These services cover patients who have been injured acutely or chronically performing their job. Our medical specialists provide independent expert evaluation of the injury in the context of the patients’ workplace environment.
Permanent impairment assessments are performed on patients who have suffered a workplace injury and have a degree or permanent impairment or Whole Person Impairment (WPI). This assessment is performed by our specialists when the person a) has reached maximum recovery from injury b) it is greater than 12 months since the initial injury.
Our team has completed additional, specific accreditation to complete these assessments.
We provide truly independent expert specialist medical assessments. Our diverse specialist team offers high quality, timely, specialist medical assessments and reports.

Our medical specialists can assess and report on injuries that have been sustained through accident/ injury involving a motor vehicle. Our diverse team are able to provide expert assessment, particularly in cases where multiple injuries are sustained/ there are complex long term complications of injury, e.g pain/ psychological injury.

Assessments for public liability cases are required in the instance where a person is injured due to negligent/ unsafe conditions in public spaces. Our multidisciplinary team can make an independent, expert assessment of injuries in the context of the environment in which they occured. This is inclusive of instances where injuries are complex, for example pain/ psychological injury.

We offer assessment for patients who have suffered secondary psychological injury due to physical accident/ injury, as well as primary psychological injury due to workplace conditions/ events. Our experienced psychiatrists work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the patient as a whole is considered in the impact of injuries.

Our medical specialist can provide assessment of patient files without interview or examination.

Telehealth assessments can be arranged where necessary and deemed appropriate by all parties. This may include regional or remote patients requiring assessment and reporting. In this instance video conferencing can be used.
